Embracing Eco-Friendly Packaging at EeshaBoutique

Embracing Eco-Friendly Packaging at EeshaBoutique - Our focus on sustainability
Did you know that packaging waste is one of the biggest contributing factors for polluting our climate, harming wildlife, and destroying marine life. Here at Eeshaboutique, we are continuously working towards providing Eco-Friendly Packaging and zero-waste unboxing experience for our customers.
Being an ethical slow fashion brand EeshaBoutique's mission is to eliminate any practice which is harmful to mother nature. Hence we have decided to reconsider our packaging choices to be more eco-friendly.
Every day, we receive a large volume of orders. As a result, we have the responsibility to reduce our use of plastic and replace it with recycled material whenever possible.
We use handmade bags made out of leftover fabric from our production line, to reduce fabric waste. EeshaBoutique has specially designed breathable and reusable calico drawstring bags to pack our vintage silk kaftans, which can be used to store, and protect them in your wardrobe. You will notice that the small tags on each product are made of organic cotton.
In order to cater to our large number of orders we pack them in recyclable tissue papers and mailers. Additionally, we don't use many paper on the products. Though we are unable to completely eliminate the use of plastic because it is still used to package products, instead of purchasing new plastic packaging, we reuse the plastic packaging we receive from our manufacturer.
Team EeshaBoutique is doing a small part to preserve and sustain Mother Earth. Every day, we strive to make our packaging more environmentally friendly and sustainable.
We would love to hear your ideas, please contact us at contact@eeshaoutique.com
Reduce Reuse Recycle is the essence of everything at EeshaBoutique packaging team.

Hi Eesha boutique,
I hope you are safe during this extremely warm weather.
My name is Sakshi, the co-founder of a DGR registered social enterprise charity in Australia that provides textile education and employment with women from India. We work with women from low-socio economic communities (who didn’t get the chance to have an education) and create employment by making hand made products for customers like yourself.
I noticed you have a lot of Indian prints/textiles in your products, so I thought I would reach out to see if you might be open to catching up over zoom or the phone to see if there might be any potential to work together? We even do ethical packaging by upcycling donated sarees that would otherwise go into landfill, which I know you mentioned in one of your blogs and I would love to chat more about potentially working together. In the past we have created products for Daughters of India, fashion brands in the UK and small homeware businesses in Europe.
Let me know if you would have capacity for a call. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully catching up!
Kind Regards,
Sakshi Thakur OAM
